Aaron is finally getting a tattoo he has been planning for three years. Rua and Aaron designed the multicultural pattern to tribute the pacific people he has been working with for years and many of whom became close friends. “I provide good opportunities for them and they help me make a living. Works well for everyone.” Only Aaron’s six-year-old son opposes the tattoo because Rua “makes daddy cry!”. Rua’s design involves many different techniques: areas of solid color, thin lines and shadings. All added up it takes seventeen hours of straight inkwork to finish the design on top of planning and drawing and the tattoo will cost Aaron $4000.
