Kati stays at Daffodil House for a week after her operation. The Daffodil House is a charming, tudor style accomodation run by the Cancer Society for cancer patients. Kati was diagnosed with a rapidly growing, dangerous type of cancer six weeks ago. Since then she has been through various tests with either alarming or relieving results. Kati takes the emotional rollercoaster of the journey with a brave face, endevouring to learn and change to take steps towards a healthier life. On her way and through her blog she gains admiration of thousands of people. Kati had her large tumour removed through a major abdominal surgery five days ago. “I consider myself healthy now. It’s something like going to the dentist with a sore tooth. Maybe I had something in my body that wasn’t right but now it’s gone.” Kati knows that accepting love and compassion is a key for her recovery, so please send her a virtual loveheart in the comments.
